Unique rooftop venue

Stratos is known as one of the great pearls of the functionalist architectural style in Oslo, and is one of the city’s most popular venues. It is situated on Youngstorvet, right in the middle of the city. From its location on the 12th floor of the Folketeateret building, the venue towers over the buzzing life of Oslo. Some of Oslo’s main landmarks, such as Oslo Plaza, Oslo Opera House, and Karl Johan, are all near.

Stratos can boast a 260 sqm sized roof terrace with a panoramic view over the city and its fjord. Today, Stratos is mainly known as a hire venue, as popular for corporate events, conferances as for private parties and weddings. Stratos interior is clean and discreet, and its simple layout over two floors makes it perfect for many different types of events.

During the summer Stratos ceases to be a hire venue and opens as a daytime cafe, lounge and nightclub. Our guests can enjoy delicious summer menus, fantastic DJs and live entertainment from 20. June – 18. August.  See program info
